OSE (Optimal Sexual Experience)

“Great Lovers aren’t born, they are made” – Peggy Kleinplatz.

Would you and your partner like to improve your sex life? Couples with low/no sexual desire or frequency, and/or desire discrepancy (in which one partner is more interested in sex than the other) who are interested in enhancing their sexual relationship and ready to embark on a journey to enhance their sexual experiences and relationships. The process will involve group therapy over 16 hours. Participants use nicknames and are not required to speak during this group. The Optimal Sexual Experience group (OSE) was created and designed by Dr. Peggy Kleinplatz and her research team. She is a professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Director of Sex and Couples Therapy at the University of Ottawa. Leah Valian is a certified facilitator to run an OSE group.

The groups are part of a research project studying the effectiveness of group therapy in enhancing sexual relationships. Your participation in the research project (which is optional) consists of completing questionnaires at multiple time points. Contact Couple Health for more information about the group and future dates. Note: this group is not available online.
